Toxciology & Environmental Medicine in Parkinson's

   Watch Promo

There is ample evidence that pesticides and other environmental contaminants increase one's risk of being diagnosed with parkinsonism, but little research to suggest that an individual can go through a detoxification process that will improve their outcomes over time.

We'll discuss the established environmental risk factors that have been associated with parkinsonism, where people are generally exposed, whether or not they can and should get tested, and if elevated, what you can do about it.

Pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, pharmaceutical, and dietary insults will be reviewed, as will the idea that people with parkinsonism may have impaired detoxification systems. We'll touch on a range of detoxification strategies ranging from bowel movements to chelation.
